Don't Ban TikTok, Ban China's Control and Secure the Data
While you are at it, apply those Rules to Google, Youtube, Facebook and the Rest of Them
The impulse to ban communication is infectious. We had another politician, Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz, calling for even more censorship.
"Just got off a Zoom meeting with Fed, Treasury, FDIC, House and Senate," Massie tweeted on Sunday. "A Democrat Senator essentially asked whether there was a program in place to censor information on social media that could lead to a run on the banks." (source)
Senator Massie later tweeted his name.
Now there is a growing gang of politicians who want to ban TikTok, the short-form video hosting service owned by the Chinese company ByteDance. The growth of TikTok has been explosive and it's likely one of the main reasons that politicians want to kill it. Below are 10 stats about TikTok that would scare the big boys/girls within Google and the Intelligence agencies:
You can also see a good illustrative animated visual of it's explosive growth here.
Don't get me wrong, the last thing I would want is for China and/or the Globalists to have control of our data, to censor and to use the tool against us with propaganda and lies. But the problem we have with TikTok is the SAME problem we have with all the social media applications/platforms.
The Federalist just released an investigative report showing that the US Government has given over 500 grants to for-profit companies to create more powerful tools using AI and machine learning to combat "disinformation" and "misinformation". We now have the definitive proof, thanks to the Twitter Files, that those determining what is "misinformation" or "disinformation" are not only wrong, but also driven by ulterior motives and agendas.
We also know that the Smith Mundt act revisions from 2012 gave the US government the right to use propaganda against the American people. Considering the US government has, without a doubt, been shown to have lost its way, being influenced (or controlled) by globalist actors such as the WHO and the World Economic Forum whose goals are not align with those of the American people, we must implement actions to protect Americans from all of these actors. Not just from TikTok.
We should refrain from using arguments like, "The Chinese bans Facebook so we should ban TikTok", or "The Chinese wouldn't allow it in their own country so why should we allow it here". Those are childish emotional arguments used by those who cannot think past emotions or are trying to create division.
Do we really want to be like the Chinese? Of course not.
But we should be a heck of a lot smarter and protect ourselves from ALL enemies foreign and domestic by banning the Chinese control of the data and the Globalists control of the American company's data like Google, Youtube, and Facebook. While we are at it, we should also be addressing our domestic enemies who are blackmailed or aligned with the Globalists and/or the Chinese.
Don't Ban TikTok, Ban China's Control and Secure the Data
Reality... a tornado does not bend its path because you want think think it should.
The CCP is a bit of a force of nature. All apps MUST turn over data upon request or the person refusing is guilty of death. FB, IG, and whatever you want to cite Sarah simply don't play by the same rules. And in China, they turn this data over on Chinese citizens. Which is why these US companies like FB store their data on the rest of the world here and the Chinese execs can't turn over because they don't have access.
TikTok is a ByteDance company and the data is stored there. The only way to fix the situation is outlaw TT or force them to change their ownership in the same way that FB is structured.
--- Most people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that what they believe is the Truth. This is what makes CNN and FOX. You can do better.
The reasons everything is so convoluted is because we have convoluted underlying beliefs. We want a different world but we have no concept of what a different world would be like. To even think "outside the box" we have to think differently. But anytime someone thinks differently, they are ignored, poopooohed or even lambasted. The belief that anything should be banned - anything at all - is buying into the dominator system. Nothing should be banned - unless people talk about it and decide through a clearly-defined process, that something should be banned. What we have is everyone dictating things over everyone else, and thinking that's alright. NO banning, period. Unless under a very strict process such as the Egalitarian Proposal System. This is a universal method that can be applied to get the most fairest consensus. https://deniseward.substack.com/p/the-egalitarian-proposal-system
