Hi Sarah, love your podcast! Do you have suggestion on how to administer 5 Amino powder. Do I reconstitute or dissolve in water?

Thank you Sally! You can take it with food or drink. Whatever you think you can handle. Some put it into empty capsules. You just have to make sure you are extra careful to get your desired dose.

Thank you so much, Sarah! As an 86 year old person who is 100 lbs. overweight, and can't drop weight without permanent fasting, you have given me renewed hope. By the way, you look

fabulous!

Thanks so much!

I have been taking a peptide my body can’t make itself for biotoxin mold illness. Makes a huge difference.

Rosalind- can you please share the name of the peptide you are taking for biotoxin mold illness? TY

Thanks!. I used a nasal spray made with DMSO & Boswellia & HOCL made by a Dr. (ND) from the Oregon? area for mold biotoxin. Not prescription as VIP. The biggest improvement came from addressing medical trauma as well as others. Mind body is so important. Dr. Neil Nathan finally came to that conclusion.

What happens when you stop taking peptides? Are there long term dependencies or harm? This is why I never got into steroids or even hormone therapy, I didn't like the long term prospects or being reliant on anything. Ask me again in 10-20 years though.

I would imagine its like anything else. I will be on a maintenance program with SLUP and 5 amino or something else probably forever. Just like I plan on taking Collagen supplements forever or vitamins. I think Retatrutide would only be in micro doses as needed. I am aging... it will be necessary because I am trying to combat those effects faster than they come on. But, I don't see it as being something a young person should have to use forever to keep their weight off. That would not be good. It's also why cycling, lower dosages and clean peptides are important. You can tough it out and do the exercise and diet alone. That's effective too for some, but its just REALLY hard as you age. I did it effectively until I hit my mid 40's, then it became really hard. Also, combatting muscle loss as you age is a thing too. IDK, I am all in on this. Its working.

I wouldn't classify hormones or peptides with multi blend synergistic vitamins found/made from nature. And I suspect real bone broth is probably better than isolated collagen. Personally, I am more about health and function than ego. Do I care if I don't look like RFK in another 20 years as long as I am lean, flexible, strong, and healthy? Nope. Besides, there are some physical things I can do today that I wasn't able to 20 years ago (oddly enough). Even my blood numbers and resting HR is better. I think sporadically exercising like a tiger is about to kill you, fasting for long periods, and rest/meditation/prayer is far more important for physical function and aesthetics than most sold products out there. Use the innate abilities of your intelligent body by stimulating it with Nature. Then again, if peptides work out in the long run, I will revisit. You and others can be my test subjects. :)

I have come to see it differently, as you age your body loses its natural ability to do things on its own. Thats where peptides come in and its where it compares to vitamins. Vitamins make up for deficiencies from food. Peptides make up for deficiencies from aging or body breakdown. Regardless, I hope these continue to be freely available so we all can chose for ourselves to take them or not. Freedom of choice is important.
