Wow! So in the Hannibal Doctrine (widely reported to have been reactivated & used in the original October 7 interactions) we have military forces killing citizens & combatants on their side under the guise of preventing them from being taken hostage by opposition forces. In the Dahya Doctrine, they also operate to do maximum damage to infrastructure (including civilian populations/areas) early on in any exchange (I'm assuming, from observation, including any first strikes they initiate, supposedly "per-emptively") to gain a perceived greater advantage in terms of recovery extent and duration. More excuses for systematic, indiscriminate, intentionally brutal measures being undertaken without apologies or regrets. Amazing what a "victim" mentality translated to a national identity and disposition can do to fuel the aggrandized aspirations of a renegade government that claims to represent God's "chosen people" MANY of whom are (in the U.S. & in the nation state calling itself Israel) actively protesting and distancing themselves from the idea that these are the activities of "Jews" and that they are legitimate and warranted. So much more to be examined and weighed in terms of the legitimacy and intent of the famed "Balfour Declaration" (letter from Arthur Balfour addressed to Lord Rothschild regarding the favorable view of the government of Britain on the question of a zionist state called Israel) that included this clause/provision/caution/qualification: "His Majesty's Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country." And to be in full recognition of the self-declarative nature (and therefore existence, though the League of Nations/UN further endorsed it's legitimacy while summarily ignoring the previously promised nation state status to Palestine) of Israel's Declaration of Independence, enacted following the expiration of GB's governance over that portion of the former Ottoman Empire, including, "In the year 1897 the first Zionist Congress, inspired by Theodore Herzl’s vision of a Jewish state, proclaimed the right of the Jewish people to a national revival in their own country. This right was acknowledged by the Balfour Declaration of November 2, 1917, and reaffirmed by the mandate of the League of Nations, which gave explicit international recognition to the historic connection of the Jewish people with Palestine and their right to reconstitute their national home." and further, "This recognition by the United Nations of the right of the Jewish people to establish their independent state may not be revoked. It is, moreover, the self-evident right of the Jewish people to be a nation, as all other nations, in its own sovereign state.

Accordingly we, the members of National Council, representing the Jewish people in Palestine and the Zionist movement of the world, met together in solemn assembly by virtue of the natural and historic right of Jewish people and of resolution of the General Assembly of the United Nations: Hereby proclaim the establishment of the Jewish state in Palestine, to be called Israel." The evil, one-world government apparatus of the United Nations and the colonial empire of Great Britain under the influence of zionist influences seeking to establish an outpost in Palestine, endorsed and promoted (in a limited fashion, with provisions) the establishment of an apartheid (Jewish only) state in Palestine with the understanding the indigenous peoples there would not be denied their rights. That which preceded and followed this declaration (by the way, no nation state has "the right to exist" - people, yes - constructs of a political nature, no) by way of the Nakba and the subsequent ethnic cleansing(s) and forced exodus of Palestinians from their land, homes, communities into confined, highly regulated and monitored and controlled areas including what became "the largest open air prison on the planet" subjecting those forced to dwell there into unthinkable conditions for decades, now resolved to be completely eliminated or driven out from there and from the geographies in the maps published by the government of the nation state calling itself Israel, "greater Israel" and hence the escalating wars with other nations presumed to be predominantly Muslin but which stand in the way of the declared intention of the zionist government (backed by the U.S. & the U.K.). We watch our government/media mouthpieces participate in a HUGE way in this charade, while mega weapons, armaments (specialists, soldiers and other logistics, equipment and intelligence) and other support industries/corporations for our Military Industrial Complex make trillions....Our passive, ignorant, self-centered lack of true empathy for the victims and our insistence on "supporting" all rogue governments now doing the bidding of the globalists is evidence of how far advanced towards a catastrophic global event of such magnitude that we may never recover from we already are. It's near midnight. We need to shine light on the darkness about to engulf us all - what is being done in Gaza and elsewhere (Lebanon, et al) is simply a template for what is going to be done elsewhere, yes - including here. The invading mercenary armies are already here -- they walked across our northern and southern borders and are supported by our government.

Sarah, I hate ads, you hate ads, and so does everyone else; they're ubiquitous, so don't worry about it. Everyone whose opinion matters will realize that you need to feature them, and will be OK with that. They should be glad that you only ever have, as you said, a few. You put out very high quality content free of charge, so those that complain don't have a leg to stand on.

Sarah, That is both unfortunate and unfair. It might, however, be the result of the fact that “everyone” is stressed—financially and otherwise—and are just reacting disproportionally to everything; in which case you probably shouldn’t take it too personally (easier said than done, I realise) because it likely isn’t really directed at you specifically, but rather is just people lashing out at anything because just about everything sets them off these days. Or, perhaps, you are encountering those that want to silence you by wearing you down—in which case, their abuse could be considered, somewhat ironically, as a badge of honor: they wouldn’t waste their time on you if they didn’t consider you a significant threat.

As for things “...[getting] even weirder,” I would agree. I would actually go further and say that they probably haven’t even really started to get “weird” yet. I think that the various events that are being speculated on by those in the community will have a multiplying effect on each other and that that could cause just about everything to spiral out of control. Since you are familiar with Clif High’s work, you will know what he is forecasting; I suspect that his predictions could ultimately pale in comparison to what actually transpires in the next 6- to 24-months. How does Israel's civilian casualty rate in its various Gaza and in its Lebanese wars compare with the civilian casualty rate in other urban combat war zones? I have been under the impression the Israeli rate has been lower.

I so appreciate this post, Sarah! So hard for those of us safely in America to imagine fighting for our very existence every five or so years. And with our closest neighbors! It’s the equivalent of one state, such as Colorado, fighting Nebraska, Wyoming, Kansas, Utah, and New Mexico over and over again. Of course that kind of warfare has to be different than the way the US would do it—we have only two neighbors, and they are allies. And two great oceans protect us too. There is such vitriol about it that it is shocking. Thank you for this reasonable explanation!
