We don’t need another crisis to manage or another thing to be fearful about, but our nation’s food supply is at risk and it is an issue we cannot ignore.
All I can say without reading or listening thus far is ,the number of farms, food storage suppliers, hatcheries and so on that were burned and destroyed under the horrendous biden 4 years that I remember was astounding. How this chapter can go forgotten is unacceptable. It all has to be examined. It was all a push in my opinion for the Klaus Schwab one world gov agenda. Someone should do an accounting of these criminal events. They killed millions of animals and pushed farmers world wide to the brink.
I agree with some of what he is saying. As a first generation farmer, who after being medically retired from special operations in the Marines built our farm from scratch in 2018, I feel I understand the current struggles of building a viable farming business. Its a pretty bleak outlook, if my wife and I didn’t have military retirement it would have been impossible with land cost, barrier to entry into most food systems are high. We make maple & birch syrup which these industries are completely controlled by the Canadian cartel (this is what I call them), the wholesale market is suppressed on purpose to keep prices low so as a small production operation you’ll go broke trying to sell into that market. I can make the same claim about the cattle industry on a small scale as we have Scottish Highland beef cattle. After the first couple years of farming we fired the NRCS/USDA and broke all contracts with them, everything they want you to do for your farm revolves around big projects and taking on debt, not to mention the government big brother eyes watching every move you make on your farm. Example being I had an NRCS agent say he had to approve that I was reclaiming old fields, say what? That went over like a fart in church.. get off my property clown. Point being these government cronies are wasting tax payer money tinkering around with farm operations. The other aspect is the socialistic subsidizing of the farming industry. Take for instance the organic milk farmer down the road from me, who has government money via grants, loans and subsidies flowing in like rain water. But he can’t manage to get enough hay for his cattle and has to buy from other farmers every winter… would this farm survive if it wasn’t held up on crutches by the government? The milking industry would collapse overnight if subsidies stopped, so ask yourself this, if the government wants you to drink milk, is it good for your health? Back to my operation: we actually scaled back a couple years ago after kicking out the parasite NRCS and focused on debt payoff of our farm before we approach any type of expansion, this turned out to be a good move just before covidstan hit and now we are two months from being debt free. Most farmers are slaves to debt, until that changes don’t expect food to be grown in a manner that is meant to be healthy for the consumer. And until America’s food culture changes and gets back to supporting local farmers nothing will change.
